This two day Spoon Carving course introduces students to in–the–round carving using the well–known shape of the spoon as a model. Basic hand skills and sharpening techniques will be taught. Tool use will be extended to include the bandsaw, spokeshave and scraper. Students will finish the course with one or possibly two completed spoons.
