This new carving course is for those who have previous carving experience and want to extend their skill set.
Create a two part piece – a container with lid to hold a treasured / taonga object.
This 4-day intermediate carving course will extend your existing carving skills adding more technical processes. The structural elements of the container will be the same for each student with the freedom to carve an individual design for the lid.
Sharpening and honing will also be covered in this course.
Suggested tools to bring if you have them :-
Carving Knife- 60mm blade ( No longer ). Curved cutting edge- not straight.
Flexcut 11 piece carving set ( or equivalent )
Carving protective glove ( optional )
