This 2-day course is intended for the beginner or someone who is starting to set up their own workshop.
Woodworking machines are an important part of the furniture making and woodworking process, but can often be intimidating.
The emphasis will be on learning safe and efficient techniques, including the use of both push sticks and auxiliary fences.
Students will learn how to safely set up and operate common woodworking machinery and the process for milling lumber in preparation for cutting joinery.

Bandsaw, jointer, thickness planer, table saw and drill press

Processing basics
