Kumiko is the traditional Japanese technique of refined lattice work used for forming decorative
panels.
This 2 day introductory class focuses on the Asanoha pattern and the use of hand tools to create a wall hanging. You will use the hand saw and block plane to create the pattern, and will also have an introduction to the vacuum press to veneer the back panel.
This course is suitable for the experienced woodworker and the absolute beginner alike, it requires no previous experience.
