The intention of this course is to provide students with the skills and knowledge to build and safely use a variety of jigs for static woodworking machines and hand operated power tools.

Students will build a range of jigs that can be used with the bandsaw, table saw, hand held router and the domino. Additional information will be supplied about alternative approaches or modifications to the jigs presented will be discussed and possible demonstrated.

This 3-day course will improve and enhance students understanding of how jigs can be used to improve accuracy, safety and repeatability when applied to their own woodworking projects.

Please note for those who are travelling by plane you will need to allow for an extra bag on your return flight to take your jigs home
