Router Techniques

This 2-day course will familiarise students with their own hand held router and introduce a range of techniques to get the most out of this versatile power tool. Ideally students should bring their own router and accessories to this workshop so that they get to know how their own works - however, there are routers available here if required.

Techniques covered are:-

  • Inlay
  • Lettering with stencils
  • Templates
  • Mortises
  • Use of fence
  • Circles / Arcs
  • Trimming
