Mike Davies

Mike Davies is a carver with 20 years experience, and was trained in the UK specialising in the restoration of carved antiques, undertaking projects for the British National Trust, royalty and private collectors alike. Mike is now living in Auckland and is currently working on a television series about carving cultures from around the world. He recently worked in collaboration with Maori artist Blaine Te Rito Kahungunu - together they created a 1.8m carved totara artwork at the Maori TV studio site in Newmarket.
