Playing with Veneer – A design & make project

Prerequisite: Beginning Cabinet Making or similar experience

The game board provides us with an inspirational starting point to begin learning about both band sawn and knife cut veneer. We combine new technical skills with exploration of pattern and colour; the new graphic possibilities veneer offers us. Mix this with the fascinating problem of storage and ergonomics and it promises to be a lot of fun. Again accuracy and subtlety become the underlying bywords for this consuming design and make project. N.B. Gambling Prohibited!
