Some students approach us with a very specific project or technique they wish to learn which may not necessarily fit into our general programme. Sometimes we have a request from a student where the course timetable does not work for them and they don't want to wait until the next time the course runs.
We try to accommodate our students' needs wherever possible and Thorkild Hansen is available to work with you on a one-to-one basis, where you can tailor the time you spend here in the workshop to create a project of your own. This opportunity to have Thorkild guide you through your learning is available to all woodworkers - from beginners to the more experienced; he will share his wisdom and experience with you, making sure that the effort of that extra attention to detail takes your skill to the next level.
Thorkild is a practising furniture maker and a highly skilled craftsman, who undertakes commission work when he is not tutoring the short course programme.
Course fee is dependant on duration of mentoring. Please get in touch.
